Compliance Requirements

Provider Trainings and Orientation

Contracted providers must demonstrate that they are knowledgeable and trained on important topics annually. Participation in our quarterly provider orientation and training course satisfies this annual requirement.

D-SNP Model of Care Training

The Model of Care (MOC) training is conducted annually to ensure all contracted and non-contracted medical providers and staff receive training on the DSNPs MOC as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Completion of the annual MOC training is mandatory for all providers who serve our DSNP members.

ADA Attestation

All providers must complete a one-time attestation that their location meets the requirements as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Access and Availability Survey

This yearly requirement ensures providers are meeting the access, appointment, and telephone availability standards, as set by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
