Low income and/or limited assets
If you have low income and/or limited assets, you may qualify for help from a variety of programs.
Pennsylvania’s prescription assistance programs may be able to help you with premiums for prescription drug plans or out-of-pocket expenses. The federal government provides a Medicare Part D Extra Help program (also known as the Low-Income Subsidy) that helps with some or all prescription drug coverage costs, including monthly premiums, deductibles, copays and coinsurance. An estimated one out of three Medicare beneficiaries qualifies for some level of Extra Help.

If you get Extra Help
If you get Extra Help to help pay for your Medicare prescription drug plan costs, your monthly plan premium may be lower than what it would be without Extra Help (depending on your plan choice). The amount of Extra Help you get will determine your total monthly plan premium as a member of our plan.
